The data is updated daily. (the majority)
We currently save the charts from Apple Podcasts and Spotify on a daily basis. The charts are compiled using various criteria. The number of plays is not necessarily the same as the chart position. For example, newcomers or podcasts with high ratings growth can rise in the charts even if they have fewer plays.
We estimate the downloads based on meaningful reference podcasts for which we have verified plays. Estimates are dependent on chart placements, ratings and metrics such as genre and release rhythm.
